About the Speakers:
Prof. David Lee is the Chairman of Global Fintech Institute, Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and an Adjunct Professor and Expert Advisor for Crypto at the National University of Singapore. He is also the Vice President of the Economic Society of Singapore, Co-founder of Blockchain Association of Singapore, Co-founder of Blockchain Security Alliance, and Council Member of British Blockchain Association. He has 30 years of experience as a fund manager, CEO and Independent Director of listed and tech companies. He has been acting as a consultant and advisor to international organisations on the food supply chain, cryptocurrency, Central Bank Digital Currency, blockchain, FinTech and digital assets.

Dr James Ong is an entrepreneur and community builder who has incubated, invested and mentored various technology start-ups and he is actively involved in the tech ecosystem in Asia and US. He founded Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII), a think tank advocating Sustainable AI for Humanity and is co-author of “AI for Humanity: Building a Sustainable AI for the Future” (ISBN: 9781394180301), to be published by Wiley. He also co-founded Tech4SDG Alliance for Asia and serves as Singapore secretary general.
James is also adjunct professor, industry advisor (strategy and ecosystem) AI Mega Centre and mentor-in-residence at SUTD and serves as mentor for NUS, NTU, A*STAR and Lean Launchpad program. James has over 35 years of experience in the enterprise technology, digital transformation and venture building in Asia, US and Europe across multiple industry verticals. He is currently the founder and CEO of Origami that builds ventures with frontier technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Web3, Metaverse and Enterprise Software.

 

Dinner will be provided. Registration is required for management of capacity and F&B. Seats are limited and registration will close when all seats are taken.
