SINGAPORE, October 23, 2025 — The Global Fintech Institute (GFI), in collaboration with Binance Academy, has launched a new professional curriculum titled Introduction to Regulatory Risks and Frameworks, designed to help financial and compliance professionals understand how global crypto regulation is evolving.
As digital assets reshape global finance, the course provides a structured pathway to mastering crypto compliance, financial regulation, and digital asset risk management. Learners gain an applied understanding of how regulatory frameworks and supervisory tools are being used worldwide to safeguard markets and support compliance.
Empowering Regulatory and Compliance Professionals
Developed with input from Dr. Ernie Teo, Director of Applied Computing in Finance at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Nizam Ismail, CEO of Ethikom Consultancy and former regulator at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the curriculum blends academic rigour with industry application.
Participants will also hear from leading voices in global finance during the expert panel “Dealing with Changing Regulations — What to Expect?”, featuring:

Accessible free of charge on Binance Academy, this course is open to learners at all levels — from aspiring professionals to seasoned practitioners — who wish to deepen their understanding of the regulatory frameworks driving digital finance.
Strengthening GFI and Binance Academy’s Commitment to Fintech Education
The initiative builds on the Binance–GFI partnership announced at the GFTN Forum 2025 in Japan, which reaffirmed both organisations’ shared mission to advance fintech literacy, policy innovation, and compliance capacity-building worldwide. Earlier this year, Binance supported over 500 scholarships for GFI’s Foundations in Crypto Regulation and Compliance programme, empowering regulators, financial institutions, and compliance teams to upskill in blockchain policy, digital asset governance, and supervisory frameworks.
Through this collaboration, GFI and Binance Academy continue to expand access to credible, standards-based fintech and regtech education, bridging the knowledge gap between traditional finance and the digital economy.
