The Global Fintech Institute (GFI) is seeking a creative and reliable Marketing & Content Creation Intern to join our team on-site at 80RR. You’ll help shape how GFI shows up online — across LinkedIn and thought leadership posts, email newsletters and event invites, and short videos, visuals, and speaker features.
Note: This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) position.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Draft and schedule posts for LinkedIn, aligned with GFI’s voice
- Edit short-form videos or reels from events or webinars
- Write speaker bios, post captions, and EDM copy with minimal fluff
Design & Visual Collateral
- Create promotional visuals for events, announcements, and partnerships
- Help maintain a consistent visual identity across Canva templates
- Design post-event recaps, carousels, or milestone graphics
Speaker & Event Marketing Support
- Coordinate with speakers for photos, bios, and marketing approvals
- Set up and update Luma event pages with banners and speaker details
- Assist with live posting, content capture, and visuals during events
Platform & Analytics Support
- Track post performance, engagement, and follower growth
- Help maintain GFI’s content calendar across internal Notion dashboards
- Conduct light research on content trends, hashtags, or industry voice
Requirements
- Passionate about storytelling, Fintech, and creating sharp digital content
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (graduates also welcomed to apply)
- Confident writer with a good eye for phrasing and tone
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Notion, Google Slides, and LinkedIn
- Bonus: Video editing (CapCut, Premiere, etc), HubSpot, or content scheduling tools
- Collaborative, organised, and eager to learn from a fast-paced team
