The Global Fintech Institute (GFI) is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Partnerships & Outreach Intern to join our team on-site at 80RR. You’ll work closely with the Head of Partnerships to scale GFI’s ecosystem through MoUs with Fintech and academic institutions, corporate memberships and sponsorships, and event collaborations with community and industry partners.
Note: This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) position.
Responsibilities
Outreach & Follow-Up
- Support outreach to potential partners via email and LinkedIn
- Prepare and tailor GFI’s partnership decks and materials for different audiences
- Track leads, conversations, and follow-ups on Notion or Airtable
Partnership Operations
- Coordinate partner MoU signings and onboarding
- Maintain accurate records of active MoUs, corporate memberships, and benefits delivered
- Create and update partnership decks and internal documentation as needed
- Research partner companies to recommend the most suitable agreements (e.g. MoU, event collaboration, membership)
- Monitor partnership KPIs and help draft monthly updates
Event & Campaign Support
- Assist in co-hosted event planning and comms (e.g. registration pages, EDMs, LinkedIn tags)
- Help document outcomes and next steps post-event
- Coordinate internal follow-ups and CRM updates
Content & Collateral
- Draft short summaries, quotes, or intros to feature partners on LinkedIn
- Support updating the website’s partnership section or partner logos
- Research partnership best practices from other certification bodies or Fintech networks
Requirements
- Genuinely interested in Fintech, digital innovation, education and global partnerships
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field (graduates also welcomed to apply)
- Strong writing, presentation, and organisational skills
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, Google Slides, and LinkedIn
- Bonus: Canva, HubSpot, or CRM experience
- Professional, friendly, and not afraid to follow up more than once
