The Global Fintech Institute (GFI) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Operations Intern to join our team. You will work directly with the Program Operations Lead to support the smooth execution and administration of the GFI Programmes (Chartered Fintech Professional, Chartered Fintech Associate, Executive Courses). This role is crucial in supporting candidates on their journey from their initial onboarding to exam day. You will be a key resource for candidates, helping to ensure they have a clear and positive experience.
Note: This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) position.
Responsibilities
Candidate Support & Onboarding
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidate inquiries via email and support systems, providing timely and accurate information
- Assist with the candidate onboarding process, ensuring they have the necessary information, resources, and access to begin their exam journey
- Help troubleshoot common candidate issues related to registration, scheduling, and study materials
Program Operations & Tracking
- Monitor and track candidate progression through the exam levels, maintaining accurate records in our database and internal systems
- Assist the Operations Lead in coordinating exam administration logistics with vendors, proctors, and test centers
- Maintain and update program documentation, candidate guides, and internal process maps
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Assist in preparing regular reports on candidate metrics, registration numbers, pass rates, and support ticket themes
- Help document operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support the operations team with ad-hoc projects related to program delivery and enhancement
Requirements
- Genuinely interested in Fintech, digital innovation, and education
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field (graduates also welcomed to apply)
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable and professional in handling candidate inquiries
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, Google Slides, and LinkedIn
- Bonus: Canva, HubSpot, or CRM experience
