Held at NTU’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences on 21 November 2025, the FinTech Industry Day brings together academics, industry leaders, and regulators on equal footing for a full day of conversations, exploration, and hands-on insights.
Supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Fintech Association (SFA), the event reflects Singapore’s broader approach to fintech — grounded in dialogue, experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving.
Beyond the main panel discussions, the Industry Spotlight sessions will feature perspectives from organisations including AXS, Fintech News Network, Marex Group, and UOB Kay Hian. These sessions will unpack evolving digital payment models and the shifting expectations of consumers, regulators, and financial institutions.
More than 20 companies will be on campus for networking and showcase segments, including EY, Huawei, Citadel, GfK, Global Fintech Institute, Murex, Prime Asia Asset Management, QuantEdge, and Monee — offering students a rare opportunity to learn directly from employers shaping the industry.
The day opens with an address by Associate Professor Patrick Pun Chi Seng, followed by a keynote from Mr Kenneth Gay, Chief Fintech Officer at MAS. Together, they will set the stage for discussions on collaboration, sustainability, and the future of digital finance.
Later, Professor Boh Wai Fong, NTU’s Vice President (Lifelong Learning and Alumni Engagement), will deliver the University Spotlight Talk on the growing importance of lifelong learning and upskilling across the fintech profession.
At the heart of the event, a panel moderated by Associate Professor Patrick Pun will bring together:
- Mr Alvinder Singh, Head of Innovation Acceleration Office, MAS
- Professor Boh Wai Fong, Vice President, NTU
- Ms Holly Fang, President, Singapore Fintech Association
- Mr Lim Keng Swee, Head of Product Management & Country Head (Singapore), Fiuu
Their discussion will explore how innovation, education, and policy can move in step to support Singapore’s fintech growth.
